    Of course, we still prepare the Van Dobben beef bitterballs according to the original recipe. Our bitterballs with their softly flowing ragout, pieces of tender beef and a deliciously thin crispy crust, are still old-fashioned delicious from the deep fryer.

Store in the freezer at -18°C.

How to Prepare:

  • How do you prepare the perfect Van Dobben bitterball?
    Deep-fry the bitterball in vegetable frying oil at 175°C.
    Defrosted: 3.5 min.
    Frozen: 5 min.
    We recommend preparing a maximum of 10 bitterballs at a time.
    Adjust the number of bitterballs to the capacity and volume of your deep fryer.
    E.g. max. 10 bitterballs based on a 3-liter fryer.
    Do not exceed the recommended maximum frying time and temperature.
